Here is a news flash article I read today about the "New Release Of Facebook Privacy Controls".  I recommend visiting this article.  It also contains an image of how the new Facebook privacy control  screen looks like. 

I already signed into my Facebook account just a few minutes ago, and yes, it is already live.  This is funny, because I just taught a "social network training course" this afternoon and these new controls were not even there.
